ABOUT

Enviu Textiles

The textile industry has big challenges, like overproduction, fast fashion waste, and unfair labor practices. Less than 1% of textiles are recycled into new clothes, while heaps of discarded garments fill landfills and harm communities and the environment.

Enviu Textiles tackles these issues by championing circular solutions, reducing waste, and creating ethical, sustainable supply chains that prioritize people and the planet.
APPROACH

Our Strategy for Change

We aim to transform the textile industry into a circular and fair system by reducing waste, extending the life cycle of garments, and promoting sustainable production practices. We collaborate with stakeholders across the value chain to develop innovative business models, improve working conditions, and decrease environmental impact.

Together, we’re weaving a future where fashion and sustainability coexist.

Explore Our Work

The Good Felt

The Good Felt utilizes low quality post-consumer waste collected from local waste entrepreneurs. This textile waste is converted into high quality non-woven felt sheets, suitable for multiple applications like fashion accessories, acoustics, sound proofing panels.

ReTex

ReTex creates sustainable pathways for the hospitality industry to tackle textile waste. By collecting end-of-life linens from hotels, ReTex transforms them into new products through recycling and upcycling, ensuring these materials are diverted from landfills. Their solutions enable hotels to embrace circularity and take meaningful steps toward sustainability.

Re-Mined

Re-Mined is creating a circular denim business model that transforms post-consumer denim waste into valuable resources. By reclaiming denim that would otherwise be downcycled, landfilled, or incinerated,
Re-Mined is reducing environmental impact while giving discarded denim a new life.

Qilin

Qilin is working to prevent wearables from ending up in landfills by directly connecting buyers and sellers of pre-loved clothing, thereby extending the lifespan of clothes. Through its digital platform, it aims to facilitate the exchange of second-hand clothing between buyers and sellers.

Closing The Loop

Closing The Loop is a collaborative initiative by CAIF, and Enviu, designed to transform waste into opportunity. Together, they’ve developed the Circular Textile Waste Management (CTWM) model in India—an innovative, integrated approach to textile waste management. CTWM not only recovers and reclaims value from discarded textiles but also fosters sustainable, green livelihoods for underserved communities.
